Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a meaningful impact in a child''s formative years? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school community in Croydon.
About the Role:
As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils.
What We''re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
- A proactive and patient approach to supporting learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and child development.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
