About the roleTradewind Recruitment is partnering with welcoming, well-organised primary schools across Brent to find a committed Year 1 Teacher for September 2026. Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis.Year 1 is a pivotal transition point between EYFS and Key Stage 1. Schools are looking for teachers who can bring structure, warmth and consistency as children take their first steps into formal learning. You will deliver the Primary National Curriculum with a strong focus on systematic synthetic phonics, early reading, writing and mathematics.Planning is often shared across the year group, keeping workload manageable and expectations consistent.
