Job Description:
- Deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;play-basedandnbsp;lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;classroom where every child feels valued
- Use a variety ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to track progress and inform planning
- Encourageandnbsp;phonics confidence,andnbsp;numeracy fluency, and aandnbsp;love of learning
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development
- Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;assemblies,andnbsp;theme days, andandnbsp;enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience preferred but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;nurturing,andnbsp;enthusiastic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;educator
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive practice, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;skills
- Be excited aboutandnbsp;continuous professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;team collaboration
