Job Description:

• Deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;play-basedandnbsp;lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;classroom where every child feels valued
• Use a variety ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to track progress and inform planning
• Encourageandnbsp;phonics confidence,andnbsp;numeracy fluency, and aandnbsp;love of learning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development
• Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;assemblies,andnbsp;theme days, andandnbsp;enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience preferred but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;nurturing,andnbsp;enthusiastic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;educator
• Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive practice, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
• Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;skills
• Be excited aboutandnbsp;continuous professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;team collaboration
