The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils build strong foundations in Key Stage 1 while fostering a love of learning in a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.The successful candidate will:Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the transition from EYFSHave secure knowledge of phonics programmes such as Little Wandle or Read Write Inc.Deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learnersHave high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil progressBuild positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleaguesBe committed to contributing to the wider school communityThe role will involve:Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National CurriculumPreparing pupils for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check through high-quality phonics teachingMonitoring pupil progress and using assessment to inform planningCreating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environmentWorking collaboratively with the Key Stage 1 team and senior leaders to maintain high ..... full job details .....
