Year 1 Teacher - Doncaster September 2026 Start Full-Time Long-Term Position From £140 per day An excellent primary school in Doncaster is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. This role would suit a teacher who understands the importance of early reading, phonics, and creating engaging learning experiences that help children develop confidence both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Lead a Year 1 class and deliver high-quality teaching across the curriculum Use Little Wandle effectively to support phonics development and early reading skills Plan and deliver lessons that cater for a range of learning needs Support children with additional needs through appropriate differentiation Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement Work collaboratively with support staff, leadership and parents We''re Looking For Someone Who: Holds QTS and has recent primary teaching experience Has experience teaching in a Year 1 or KS1 setting Demonstrates a strong understanding of Little Wandle phonics Has knowledge of effective SEN support strategies Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues Brings energy, creativity and commitment to the classroom Possesses strong behaviour management skills In Return Daily pay starting from £140 A long-term, full-time teaching opportunity Ongoing support throughout your assignment The chance to work within a supportive and ..... full job details .....
