Year 1 Teacher – Maternity Cover (Full-Time)
Location: Northampton
Start date: After Easter | Duration: Up to one year

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover contract, starting after Easter and running for up to one year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to work with a supportive school community and make a real difference during this important year of learning.

The role:

• Full-time maternity cover in Year 1
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
• Have experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 experience desirable)
• Be enthusiastic, organised, and child-centred
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
