Payrate: £150–£230 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

We are searching for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a school in Derby, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils as they develop core literacy, numeracy, and foundational learning skills.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate Year 1 Teacher who can create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment during this important stage of primary education.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver creative and structured lessons across the curriculum
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Build confidence in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
• Strong understanding of early primary education and curriculum delivery
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, organised, and supportive teaching approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
