The school promotes a calm and inclusive learning environment where early learning is carefully planned, making this an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher seeking a long-term role with continuity and impact.Duties as Year 1 Teacher:Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculumCreate a supportive and structured classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning routinesAssess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learnersSupport pupils personal, social, and emotional development during this key transition yearWork collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil outcomesMaintain accurate records and contribute to planning and moderation activitiesUphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all timesIdeal Year 1 Teacher:Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1Strong understanding of early phonics, literacy, and numeracy developmentAbility to create engaging lessons that motivate young learnersConfident classroom management and a nurturing teaching approachCommitment to ..... full job details .....
