Staff are supported through collaborative planning, consistent behaviour policies, and ongoing CPD opportunities, creating a positive and supportive working environment.

The school are keen to appoint a Year 1 teacher with strong KS1 experience and confidence in delivering high-quality phonics and early reading provision. Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is essential, as the class requires a teacher who can establish firm boundaries, build positive relationships, and implement consistent behaviour strategies.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
• Demonstrate strong phonics and early literacy knowledge
• Confidently manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers

For this Year 1 teacher position you must:

• Have a DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one through Academics
• Have a teaching qualification (QTS)
• Have experience and understanding in KS1 teaching
