We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS essential) to join a welcoming primary school in Welling, Bexley on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners during a crucial stage of their education.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be confident delivering high-quality phonics teaching using Letters and Sounds. Previous experience teaching phonics is essential.

• Full-time Year 1 Class Teacher

• September start

• Based in Welling, Bexley

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Year 1 curriculum

• Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress

• Deliver high-quality phonics sessions using the Letters and Sounds programme

• Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school or successful completion of teacher training placements

• Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1 is highly desirable

• Essential experience delivering phonics using the Letters and Sounds programme

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
