Yard Worker / Forklift Truck Driver - MANUAL HANDLING INVOLVED and OPTIONAL OVERTIMESalary: Up to £28,000 plus overtimeHours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidaysOur client is seeking a reliable Forklift Truck Driver / Yard Person to join their dynamic operations team. This role involves supporting daily yard operations, preparing equipment for despatch, and safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.Manual handling and heavy lifting are essential aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities:Participate in daily toolbox talks at 7:30amMaintain a clean, safe and organised yard environmentSelect equipment accurately using load listsLoad and unload vehicles using counterbalance forklifts and telehandlers in a safe mannerSecure loads on trailers with ratchet straps in compliance with health and safety regulationsAssist with stock control and ensure equipment is prepared for despatchConduct equipment checks and perform basic maintenance tasksSupport annual stock auditsComplete load lists and yard paperwork accurately and promptlyCandidate Requirements: Yard Person Valid forklift licence (essential)Previous experience in a yard or operations environmentComfortable with manual handling and heavy liftingStrong attention to detailAbility to work safely and follow established proceduresOvertime Rates:Monday to Friday after 8 hours: 1.5x hourly rateSaturday: 1.5x hourly rateSunday: 1.5x hourly rateBank holidays: double payThis is an excellent ..... full job details .....
