Yard / Warehouse Operative Location: Ridgeway Belfast Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role Ridgeway is seeking a motivated and reliable Yard / Warehouse Operative to join our growing team at our Belfast depot. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Working as part of a busy warehouse and yard operation, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Key Responsibilities Receive, check, and dispatch goods for both hire and sales orders. Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock control procedures. Carry out product quality inspections and report any discrepancies. Ensure the warehouse and yard areas remain clean, organised, and safe. Operate a forklift truck safely and in accordance with company procedures. Work outdoors in all weather conditions when required. Assist customers and drivers professionally when collecting or delivering goods. Support the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. What We''re Looking For Essential Requirements Valid Forklift Licence. Previous warehouse and/or yard experience. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
