Yard SupervisorLocation: Stratford-upon-Avon (main depot)Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pmAbout the RoleAn established and well-respected supplier within the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking a hands-on Yard Supervisor to join its busy depot in Stratford-upon-Avon.This is a key operational role requiring a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and significant experience working within a construction or plant hire yard environment. The position is highly practical and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, taking full responsibility for day-to-day yard operations while leading from the front.The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high operational standards, driving efficiency, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the yardOperate telehandlers (valid licence essential)Load and unload articulated vehicles safely and efficientlySort, inspect, and manually clean hire and used materialsMaintain yard organisation, stock control, and operational standardsComplete and manage accurate daily operational paperworkSupervise and support Yard Operatives, including performance management and holiday approvalsCoordinate temporary labour requirements where necessaryEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environmentConduct regular stock checks and maintain accuracyArrange ..... full job details .....
