This is a afternoon and night shift-only position for reliable, safety-conscious drivers who are confident manoeuvring HGVs around a busy yard.The Role As a Yard Shunter, your main responsibility will be to safely move and position trailers and vehicles around the depot, ensuring the yard operates efficiently throughout the night.Key Responsibilities Safely shunt HGV trailers and vehicles around the yard.Move trailers between loading bays, parking areas and designated locations.Couple and uncouple trailers safely when required.Carry out vehicle and trailer checks before moving vehicles.Follow site traffic management procedures and yard instructions.Ensure vehicles are correctly positioned and ready for loading/unloading.Communicate effectively with the transport and warehouse teams.Maintain high standards of safety at all times.Report any vehicle defects, damage or safety concerns immediately.Keep the yard organised and...
