The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the yard, ensuring that all vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, and PPE are properly controlled, maintained, and ready for operational use. This is a vital role within the business, helping to ensure that our crews and drivers are fully equipped and prepared for each shift while maintaining efficient yard operations. Key Responsibilities Checking staff in and out at the start and end of each shift. Signing vehicles out to drivers and maintaining accurate records. Controlling access to the main yard and allowing staff members in and out during off-peak times. Conducting regular stock checks of: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Materials Tools and equipment Inspecting all vehicles upon their return from shift and ensuring that all allocated tools, equipment, and materials are accounted for.
