The role involves working in an industrial yard environment, handling and moving scrap materials, including- heavy domestic appliances such as fridges and freezers . Key Responsibilities Loading, unloading and moving scrap metal and appliances around the yard Handling heavy fridges, freezers and other large domestic appliances Sorting and separating different types of scrap materials Using manual handling equipment and yard machinery where required Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised Following all site health & safety procedures Working as part of a team in a busy, physically demanding environment Carrying out general yard duties as required About You Previous experience in a- yard, scrap metal, recycling, warehouse or industrial environment -is desirable Comfortable handling- heavy and bulky items Physically fit and able to carry out manual work throughout the shift Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to work safel...
