You will play an important role within the Thames Water Inventory and Supply team, who manage the storage and distribution of equipment, critical materials, field engineering parts & tools and mobile plant. What you will be doing as a Yard Person Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment within the yard. Ensure that all plant, equipment, and materials are correctly stored, secured, maintained, and always accounted for. Ensure that all plant, equipment, barriers/signing & guarding (S&G) and materials are clearly labelled and readily available. Engaging with the front-line operational teams to ensure that the issuing and returning of Thames Water stock is by our process. All waste is disposed of in accordance with Thames Waters Waste Management process Carry out regular monitoring and reporting (including stock take, inspections and audits) on a weekly and monthly basis.
