JOB VACANCY: Yard Operative with Forklift LicenceLocation: Sandwich Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00 Start Date: Immediate Contract: Initially temporary, with strong potential for permanent employment for the right candidateWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative with a Forklift Licence to join our team in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:Operate forklift safely and in accordance with company proceduresLoad and unload goods, materials, and deliveries both manually and using a forkliftMove products to and from storage areasCarry out basic site and grounds maintenance (e.g. clearing debris, cutting grass, maintaining walkways)Support warehouse and yard operations as requiredEnsure health and safety standards are met at all timesUse internal IT systems to record movements, complete basic documentation, and support operational reportingRequirements:Valid Counterbalance Forklift LicenceValid driving licence would be preferredPrevious experience in a similar industrial or warehouse environmentCompetent IT skills, with confidence using basic systems and electronic recordsGood communication skills and a proactive attitudePhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPlease note that due to the nature of the business you will be required to complete an on-line criminal record check prior to starting.
