Job Purpose To support the safe and efficient running of the yard, including vehicle movements, banksman duties, housekeeping, loading/unloading support and general yard activities. Key Duties Act as a trained vehicle banksman for HGVs, vans, cars and delivery vehicles. Safely guide vehicles during reversing, maneuvering, loading and unloading activities. Ensure drivers follow site traffic rules, speed limits, parking controls and designated routes. Keep the yard clean, tidy and free from obstructions. Keep walkways, loading areas, fire exits and access routes clear at all times. Support loading, unloading and movement of materials, pallets, stillages and equipment. Assist with waste areas, skips and general yard organisation. Skills and Requirements Vehicle banksman training, or willingness to complete training before carrying out banksman duties.
