Job Title: Yard Operative
Location: Coventry
Hours: Days (flexibility required)
Salary: Up to £41,500 per annum 
Licences Required: External Tele-handler Required (FLT, 360 Rehandler, Ash Crane – desirable, training provided)

Yard Operative Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery: Telehandler, ash crane, 360 rehandler, weighbridge
• Assist public with correct waste segregation
• Handle hazardous waste safely and monitor tipping hall operations
• Load and manage waste containers and transport
• Keep site clean, tidy, and compliant with site licences
• Maintain records, report incidents, and conduct safety checks
• Provide cover for stores and ash crane operations as needed

 Yard Operative requirements:

• Experience working outdoors and independently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic understanding of recycling/waste minimisation
• Team player, physically fit, and safety-minded
