Working within a busy outdoor yard environment, the role involves loading and unloading deliveries, preparing materials for production, operating lifting equipment and ensuring all materials are received, stored and dispatched accurately. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining operational efficiency while adhering to the highest standards of health, safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Safely load and unload lorries using overhead cranes, forklifts and side loaders. Receive, inspect and organise incoming steel deliveries in accordance with operational requirements. Verify delivery documentation and ensure materials are accurately recorded and stored. Pick structural steel sections, plates and other materials for production machinery. Load, unload and stack steel onto shotblast machines and other processing equipment.
