Yard Operative (Temp to Perm) Cheltenham Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Contract: Temp to PermPertemps are recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing client. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term job security for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on, physically active position and is comfortable carrying out manual handling duties, picking and packing orders, and supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and warehouse operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPicking and packing orders accurately for customer dispatchPreparing, organising and loading orders ready for collection and deliveryCarrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties throughout the dayLoading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlyCleaning and washing products and equipment as requiredInspecting items to ensure they meet quality standards before dispatchOrganising stock and maintaining storage areasMaintaining a clean, safe and tidy yard and warehouse environmentCarrying out general yard and warehouse duties as requiredThe Ideal CandidateReliable, punctual and hardworkingComfortable with physical work, including frequent lifting and manual handlingPrevious experience in a warehouse, yard, picking, packing or logistics environment is desirable but not essentialGood attention to detail and accuracy when preparing ordersComfortable working both indoors and ..... full job details .....
