Yard Operative

We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team and help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our site. This role is vital to ensuring food safety, health and safety compliance, and operational efficiency. What you''ll do: Keep external yard areas clean and hazard-free, including washing bays and designated zones. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pressure washers, hoses). Carry out litter picking and waste removal promptly. Complete daily safety walks and report any hazards or maintenance issues. Record cleaning activities and communicate concerns to the Shift Lead. What we''re looking for: Previous experience in industrial or food production hygiene roles (preferred). Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene standards.
