We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our factory team and support the smooth running of our yard and operations.About the RoleReporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will play a key role in preparing customer orders, handling stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift truck safely and efficientlyLoad and unload vehicles with goodsPrepare orders for galvanising and powder coating collectionsCheck and count returned galvanised and powder-coated ordersPick, band, and wrap customer delivery ordersPut stock away correctly and rotate stock where requiredAssist customers collecting products and provide helpful supportCarry out daily forklift and vehicle safety checksKeep forklifts and work areas clean and well maintainedOccasionally drive the company flatbed van for local deliveriesAssist with gas bottle handling and storageOrganise factory bins for collectionAttend meetings and complete required trainingFollow all company procedures and health and safety policiesWhat We Are Looking ForA positive, reliable, and flexible attitudeStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication and ..... full job details .....
