Job Role: Yards Person / Semiskilled Labourer
Location: Bristol, Avon
Salary: £32,000-£35,000 base salary
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 18:00, Friday 07:00 – 16:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their team expansion. Our client is looking to onboard a yard operative to join their team at the Avonmouth depot. They offer a comprehensive training scheme with the opportunity to progress into an engineer.

The Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain plant equipment and workshop areas
• Drive to suppliers to collect tools, parts, and materials
• Carry out painting, sweeping, and general yard duties
• Assist with basic mechanical tasks under supervision
• Ensure the yard and workshop are kept safe, tidy, and well-organized
• Support the engineering and signage teams with ad hoc tasks

The Requirements:

• Hands-on, practical mindset with a willingness to learn
• Reliable, self-motivated, and physically fit
• Interest in mechanical development and open to training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
