Yard Operative / HGV Class driver

We are keen to hire an individual who has prior experience working in a similar industry, although this is not essential. A typical week will involve: Loading and unloading of vehicles, manual handling will be required for each load Shift start times between 5:00 - 8:00, the majority of start times are between 6:30 - 8:00 Monday - Friday working Working outdoors in all weather''s To provide support in the yard as required, this will involve picking stock and receiving deliveries.- HGV deliveries up to 125 miles from base- Operation of a HIAB crane (Training provided) The qualities we like to see in our staff: An adaptable attitude when faced with challenges, pressure and change An appreciation of the importance of upholding compliance in road transport legislation Understanding and contributing to the businesses standards on health and safety An approachable and professional attitude towards colleagues and customers You''re reliable and have a good eye for detail What experience do you need?
