My client is currently recruiting for a Yard Operative, you''ll be essential in keeping our yard running smoothly. From loading and unloading goods to helping customers and maintaining a clean, safe environment - you''ll be right at the heart of the operation.
You will work Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30 paying £12.21 per hour weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently (counterbalance)
- Loading/unloading customer and supplier vehicles
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery
- Providing excellent customer service in the yard
- Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe at all times
- Supporting stock control and inventory manager
- A valid forklift license (essential)
- Previous yard, warehouse or builders'' merchant experience (preferred)
- Good level of physical fitness - this is an active role
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
