Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to work for our client based in Derby on a temp to perm basis. Working in a Trade Counter environment you will be working in a fast paced operation where speed and accuracy are required. You must also be confident in liaising with customers face to face to create a positive customer experience. 

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
Saturday morning’s where required but at present Saturday’s are not being worked. 

The successful Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver will:
Have an in date FLT Counterbalance license
Have experience working in a trade counter, construction or busy dual warehouse & FLT environment
Display a can-do attitude to ensure customers have a positive experience

Your duties as a Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver will include:
Stock movements within the yard to keep it tidy and functioning
Pick stock by hand or FLT where required
Wrap pallets 
Liaise with customers regarding their deliveries 
Support trade counter when required 

You will receive:
£12.50 per hour rising from April 2025
