WHAT OUR YARD OPERATIVES DO: Safely load and unload lorries using appropriate equipment (e.g. forklift, telehandler)Ensuring materials are handled correctly and paperwork is completed accuratelyMove, sort and process recyclable materials including metals, plastic, wood and general wasteMaintain a clean, organised and hazard free yard environment, including designated storage areas and traffic routesDirect and control vehicle movements on site to ensure safe access and egress, prevent congestion, and maintain compliance with site traffic plansOperate machinery and tool safely and efficiently, reporting faults or maintenance needs promptly WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR YARD OPERATIVES: Experience in a yard, warehouse or recycling environment (preferred)Valid forklift or telehandler license (desirable)Awareness of traffic management and vehicle safety proceduresAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable, ..... full job details .....
