We know that our people are our greatest asset, we are successful, dynamic, ambitious and looking for great team players to grow with us.We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our busy Recycling operation in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and safe movement, storage, and dispatch of materials across the site along with supporting our Recycling team. WHAT OUR YARD OPERATIVES DO: Safely load and unload lorries using appropriate equipment (e.g. forklift, telehandler)Ensuring materials are handled correctly and paperwork is completed accuratelyMove, sort and process recyclable materials including metals, plastic, wood and general wasteMaintain a clean, organised and hazard free yard environment, including designated storage areas and traffic routesDirect and control vehicle movements on site to ensure safe access and egress, prevent congestion, and maintain compliance with site traffic plansOperate machinery and tool safely and efficiently, reporting faults or maintenance needs promptly WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR YARD OPERATIVES: Experience in ..... full job details .....
