Yard Operative – Huddersfield (HD1)
£12.21 per hour | Weekly Pay | Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to join a busy timber merchants in Huddersfield.

Pay & Hours

• £12.21 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 17:00 (No weekends!)

Role includes:

• Loading and unloading timber and other building materials
• Preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
• Operating yard equipment safely (training provided if needed)
• Keeping the yard organised, clean, and safe
• Working as part of a friendly, supportive team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
• Forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
