Yard Operative

Yard Operative (Temporary) - Eastbourne

We are seeking a reliable Yard Operative to join our team on a temporary basis in Eastbourne. The ideal candidate must hold a valid forklift license and have experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials around the yard

- Organize and maintain stock in the yard ensuring it is tidy and secure

- Assist with general yard duties including manual handling and site cleanliness

- Follow all health and safety procedures and report any issues promptly

- Support other team members with daily operational tasks as required

Requirements:

- Valid forklift license essential

- Previous experience as a yard operative or in a warehouse/forklift role preferred

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Ability to work flexible shifts if required

Suitable for temporary, short-term work
