Yard Operative

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join Veolia on an initial 3-month temporary to permanent contract. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading: Safely move materials, stock, or equipment onto and off delivery lorries and transport vehicles. Stock organization: Place incoming goods in their designated storage spots and arrange the yard to maximize space. Order preparation: Pick and stage stock components using picking lists or inventory sheets for dispatch Driving plant machinery: Operate equipment like counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, or telehandlers, depending on site authorization and training. Equipment upkeep: Clean returned machinery, tools, or hire equipment using pressure washers and report any mechanical faults. Team liaison: Communicate clearly with delivery drivers, depot managers, and internal staff to coordinate daily schedules Essential Requirements Previous experience as a yard operative 360 excavator licences (tracked and wheeled) Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to ..... full job details .....
