Yard Operative / FLT Driver - Chorley£13.25 - £14.18 per hour (depending on experience)We are currently recruiting for experienced Yard Operatives / FLT Drivers to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation in Chorley.These are temporary-to-permanent opportunities for reliable and hardworking candidates looking to join a growing business.Shift PatternMonday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm2:00pm - 10:00pm About the RoleWorking within the yard and dispatch operation, you will be responsible for accurately picking, loading and moving products while ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained.This is a physically active role requiring excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting warehouse and distribution operations.Key Responsibilities Picking customer orders accurately from the yard and warehouse areasLoading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlyOperating Counterbalance FLT equipmentMoving stock and finished products throughout the siteConducting daily vehicle and equipment checksEnsuring products are loaded correctly and secured for transportMaintaining stock accuracy and completing relevant paperworkKeeping the yard clean, organised and safeWorking closely with production, warehouse and transport teams Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or distribution environmentValid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date or recently expired considered)Experience with picking and loading operationsStrong ..... full job details .....
