Yard Operative

Location: Bishops Stortford

-12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Yard Operative to join our busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career within a yard environment, with full training provided and opportunities for progression.

• Operating a wood saw and other machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out repetitive production and yard tasks
• Ensuring products are processed to the required standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Supporting general yard operations as required

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am to 6:30pm

• No previous experience required - full training will be provided
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a repetitive role
• Reliable and punctual
• A driver with access to transport due to the location of the site

• Opportunity to develop skills and progress into other areas of the yard after becoming fully trained on the wood saw operation (typically within the first few months)
