Yard Operative

Yard Operative Location: North of Bedford (Transport Essential) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £26,500 per annum We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the construction and utilities supply sector. An opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team environment. Responsibilities: Picking, packing, and preparing small and large items for hire and saleQuality checking and cleaning equipment (including wet work)Manual handling of materials and productsMaintaining a safe, tidy, and well-organised yard environmentSupporting installations, including occasional work on customer sitesLiaising with internal teams to ensure smooth operationsAdhering to high health and safety standards at all timesThere may be occasions where overnight stays are required during installation work. Overtime is available.
