The successful Yard Manager will be responsible for overseeing yard operations, stock control, logistics coordination and goods movement across multiple sites located within close proximity.This role would suit a proactive Yard Manager who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and leading from the front. The business is continuing to grow and needs a Yard Manager who can bring structure, efficiency and accountability to the operation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all day-to-day yard activitiesLead, motivate and develop a team of 4 operativesOversee goods in, goods out and stock managementEnsure products are correctly stored and easily accessibleCoordinate movement of stock between nearby sitesSupport loading and unloading activitiesOperate a forklift when requiredDrive continuous improvement initiativesImprove productivity and operational efficiencyWork closely with production and logistics departmentsEnsure health and safety standards are maintainedSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience as a Yard Manager, Yard Supervisor, Yard Controller or Logistics ..... full job details .....
