YARD FORKLIFT DRIVER / OPERATORWe are looking for a reliable, experienced Yard Forklift Driver / Operator to join a busy yard and production team. The ideal candidate is confident on a counterbalance truck, able to load and unload lorries quickly and safely, and willing to help with general yard and production tasks.Key responsibilitiesOperate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and goods around the yardFast, accurate loading and unloading of lorries and trailersBuild, break down and repair palletsBagging and packing production items as requiredPicking porcelain and other fragile orders with care and attention to detailManual handling of stock-lifting and moving items regularlyPerform basic daily checks on equipment and maintain a tidy, safe working areaAssist with ad-hoc tasks across the yard/warehouse as neededWhat we''re looking forValid counterbalance forklift licenceProven experience operating forklifts in a yard/warehouse environmentAbility to load lorries quickly while maintaining safe working practicesComfortable with physical work and regular liftingCareful, methodical approach when picking fragile items such as porcelainGood teamwork, reliability and a positive attitudeBasic numeracy and the ability to follow order paperworkDetailsFull-time temporary position; daytime hours with overtime - Overtime paid at time and half over 40 hours Working Hours Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm Competitive pay and training opportunitiesImmediate starts ..... full job details .....
