Job Role: Trainee Heavy Machinery Driver

Location or Commutable from: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Pay Rate: -13.50 - -14.00 per hour

Shift: Mon - Thu 07:15 - 16:00, Fri 07:15 - 15:00

About the Company:

A leading manufacturing and engineering business working across structural, rail and automotive industries. With a reputation for quality and long-term customer partnerships, they are now looking for a dedicated Trainee Heavy Machinery Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Trainee Heavy Machinery Driver:

- Previous experience operating heavy machinery, plant equipment or locomotives is essential

- Keen to learn and train as a Shunter Driver

- Comfortable with general labouring and yard duties

- Willing to train on FLT

- Reliable and safety focused

- Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment

Key Responsibilities:

- Training to operate a shunter locomotive safely on site

- Assisting with moving materials and equipment

- General labouring and yard duties

- Loading and unloading support

- FLT operation once trained

- Maintaining a safe and tidy site
