To provide daily support to the Operations Shift Leader on managing all yard activities, liasing on both inbound and outbound activities within the yard and loading areas. The role will work closely with transport, goods inwards and whole warehouse team ensuring we get product in the right locations in a timely manner and meet all customer order loading targets in a timely manner.
This will include the preparation of picking and packing of all customer orders, both for internal supply and customer orders, ensuring stock is replenished and picked error free, this includes double checks and clear communication and precise labelling and high packing standard that our customers expect.
Providing support to management team and assist with the full day-to-day activities as requested, doing so in a Safe and Professional manner.
Key accountabilities

Running regular queries on IFS to ensure we meet all customer demand across all business areas at Aylesford creating picking requirements for the team, to meet delivery schedule and date window.

Support the team in the processing of customer orders and creation of delivery documents as required depending on the shipment type.

To assist anything relating to the planning, pick, pack process, adapting to changes in demand when necessary positively.

Support a culture of continuous improvement, working safely and help to maintain a high level of housekeeping within all yard and external areas.

Clear and Regular communication with the Operations Shift Leaders and team on all information they need throughout the working day / week.

Informing leaders of any challenges to ensure all staff can help to resolve together.

Support Export picking and loading when required.-

Liaise with goods inwards throughout the day on external deliveries or off-loading ensuring the prompt GRN of goods into the right locations and report of any differences.

Support the team on the locating and supply of material and products and / or any stock investigations accordingly.

Reporting part or location shortages in a timely manner to enable us all to resolve as quickly as possible and meet customer requirements.

10pm - 6am Monday to Friday
