This role involves managing both incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring all processes are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.Day-to-day of the role:Goods In:Unload deliveries, ensuring all items are received in good condition and in correct quantities.Report any discrepancies to the Yard Manager or Branch Manager, including taking photos of damaged goods.Handle delivery notes and paperwork correctly, noting any issues as per company instructions.Follow company''s risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work during unloading.Goods Out:Load vehicles as per instructions, ensuring all items are correct and paperwork is complete.Ensure that all loaded vehicles are roadworthy and safe for public highway travel.Pick orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.Securely pack and band pallets for transport, ensuring they are safe for travel.Housekeeping:Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization as set by the Yard Manager and Branch Manager.Store all stock safely and securely.Report any property damage immediately.Health and Safety:Uphold the Health and Safety standards of the yard and ..... full job details .....
