Yacht DesignerLocation:Southampton Salary: CompetitiveJob Type: Full-timeA world-renowned British luxury yacht builder is looking for an experienced Exterior Yacht Designer to join its Design team.With a heritage spanning decades, the company combines cutting-edge design, precision engineering and traditional craftsmanship to create some of the finest bluewater sailing yachts in the world.This is an opportunity to join an established and highly respected yacht builder, working on prestigious sailing yachts from initial concept through to production.The OpportunityWe are looking for an Exterior Yacht Designer to join the Design team in SouthamptonWorking alongside designers, naval architects and project managers, you will play a key role in developing exterior designs from initial concept through to production.You will develop detailed exterior outfit designs, assemblies, fabrications and deck layouts, while providing technical information and production support throughout the build process.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded designer who enjoys combining creative yacht design with practical engineering and working closely with production teams to bring designs to life.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed drawings in line with design plans and NPD programmes.Use NX 3D CAD to develop and maintain an accurate digital twin of yachts for production.Produce and manage technical information relating to exterior outfit and naval architecture.Liaise with ..... full job details .....
