Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Year 1 Phonics and Group Intervention Specialist About the SchoolA welcoming, inclusive, and well-led primary school in Walthamstow is seeking two experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their Year 1 team. You will work with small groups of 3-6 children, delivering tailored sessions aimed at closing learning gaps and reinforcing foundational reading and writing skills.You will not be expected to reinvent the wheel - clear guidance, plans, and resources will be provided - but your ability to take initiative and adapt on the go will be key to your success.Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Intervention:Run short, structured sessions with small groups outside the main classroom or in a quiet area.Follow intervention plans provided by the class teacher or SENCo.Track student progress and provide quick but meaningful feedback.Be responsive to children''s individual learning needs during sessions.
