WTG Electrical Engineer for a major offshore wind farm in ScotlandResponsibilitiesPreparation of electrical scope of works and Client requirements for offshore turbine and foundation contracts.Lead on wind turbine electrical design review and approvals.Front end engineering design works for turbine foundation electrical systems.Manage electrical interfaces between turbine and foundation.Close collaboration with supplier to ensure that the design, manufacturing and installation process comply with contractual and industry design and quality standards.The role will require knowledge of HV electrical systems within the turbine, such as converters, transformers and switchgear and will also require knowledge of LV electrical and cable systemsDevelop electrical contract documentation including management and preparation of substation and electrical balance of plant contracts and Works Experience RequiredExperience in substation layout design, primary equipment specifications and testing up to 400kVGood technical knowledge and experience of renewable electricity Generation or TransmissionA good working knowledge of engineering legislation and industry good practice relevant to substation designs, primary plant and protectionThorough understanding of commercial awareness to understand implications of engineering activities and decisions Experienced with preparations for offshore construction phase as well as construction and related regulatory requirements, frameworks and legal ..... full job details .....
