This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a wide range of vehicles, including:Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs)Road sweepersHook loadersLight commercial vehicles (vans)Trailers and tippersKey Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to:Routine and preventative maintenanceMOT preparationServicing to DVSA standards6- or 8-weekly safety inspectionsDiagnosing and rectifying faultsChassis and fabrication workWorking with hydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical diagnostics, wiring, and repairsContinuous improvement of vehicle standardsAbout You We welcome applications from both qualified and time-served technicians, as well as those looking to further develop their skills.You will ideally have:A recognised qualification (City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)A strong understanding of commercial vehicle mechanicsA proactive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanshipDesirable (but not essential):IRTEC accreditationEV/Hybrid vehicle qualificationsHGV Class 1 or Class 2 licenceWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary up to £54,000 ..... full job details .....
