POST TITLE: Workshop Technician / Trainer - ElectricalLOCATION: North KentHOURS: 35 hours per weekCONTRACT: Full TimeSALARY: Up to £37,075 per annum (plus potential Location Allowance £2,000 - £7,000)JOB PURPOSE:To support the delivery of high-quality electrical apprenticeship training through a dual role combining workshop management and practical training, preparing learners for AM2S end-point assessment and industry readiness.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain a safe, organised and fully equipped workshop environmentPrepare materials, tools and training bays for practical sessionsDeliver AM2S preparation sessions and practical trainingProvide one-to-one and group coaching to support apprentice developmentAssess learner performance and identify skills gapsProvide clear, constructive feedback to support progressPromote high standards of behaviour, attendance and professionalismEmbed safeguarding, health and safety, equality and employability skills into trainingMaintain workshop tools, equipment and compliance standardsWork collaboratively with tutors and training staffMaintain accurate records of training activity and workshop resourcesKeep technical knowledge up to date through CPDPERSON SPECIFICATIONEssential:Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)BS 7671 Wiring Regulations qualificationInspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)Relevant post-qualification industry experienceStrong communication and organisational skillsPractical ..... full job details .....
