Job Title: Workshop Technician Location: Dover Workshop, Kent Reports To: Workshop ManagerJob Description: As a Workshop Technician, you''ll help maintain, prepare, and repair mechanical equipment both in the workshop and on-site. You''ll support installation jobs, assist with general maintenance, and ensure all work follows safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring technical skills and a strong focus on health and safety.Main Duties:Prepare and maintain equipment in the workshopAssist with mechanical tasks and installations on-siteUse tools and machinery safely and correctlyFollow all safety procedures and wear the correct PPESupport maintenance and troubleshooting workTravel to sites as required, using your own vehicleCarry out other duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager or Project ManagersWhat You''ll Need:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience working with tools and mechanical systemsHealth and Safety certifications (e.g., CSCS or CCNSG)Certifications for operating lifting or workshop equipmentWillingness to work overtime when neededPersonal tool kit (job-specific tools are provided)Pay and Hours: 17.77 per hour (standard rate)Overtime available:After 6 PM weekdays - 1.5xSaturdays - 1.5xSundays - ..... full job details .....
