Workshop Technician

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a leading engineering business in the search for a Workshop Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys fault-finding, repairing, upgrading and testing specialist equipment within a workshop environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer equipment is serviced, repaired and returned to the highest standards of quality and performance. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, maintenance and upgrade of specialist equipment, along with associated mechanical components. Diagnosing faults on mechanical equipment and tooling Disassembling, inspecting and rebuilding equipment to manufacturer standards Testing and calibrating equipment following repair Completing workshop documentation and service reports accurately Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Supporting continuous improvement activities across the workshop Managing workloads to ensure customer deadlines are achieved Training will be provided on Hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. We are keen to speak with candidates who have a strong mechanical background and experience working with precision equipment, tools or industrial machinery.
