Workshop Technician Location: Bournemouth Job Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician to join a leading aviation organisation supporting military and commercial aircraft maintenance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aircraft structures engineer to work within a Part-145 and Part-21 environment, carrying out structural repairs, component manufacture and aircraft maintenance to the highest industry standards. The Role Working within a dedicated workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and manufacture of aircraft structural components, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Assemble aircraft structural components from engineering drawings and specifications. Carry out sheet metal repairs using solid and blind riveting, bolting and detail fitting techniques. Manufacture metal detail components including bending and forming. Repair and maintain aircraft mechanical and structural components. Interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation. Complete all maintenance documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with Part-145, Part-21 and company procedures. Use calibrated tooling and precision measuring equipment. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and tool control.
