Workshop Technician

JDR are recruiting a Workshop Technician on behalf our client based in Aberdeen. As Workshop Technician you will be responsible for assembling, testing and maintenance of company products.
 
The Role: Workshop Technician (Mechanical)
Location: Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent
Rate: £38,000 - £41,000 DOE
 
What you will be doing as Workshop Technician:

• Carry out assembly and where applicable test, of a wide range of equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and product specifications
• Assemble industrial machinery and other hydraulic/mechanical equipment and components
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts, troubleshooting where applicable
• Prepare finished product for shipment
• Working collaboratively with wider workshop team and management
• Ensure QHSE systems are adhered to, reporting any issues where necessary

• Experience in similar mechanical/ hydraulic workshop based role
• Ability to operate hand tools
• Measuring and marking, cutting, grinding, drilling and tapping holes
• Driving licence advantageous
• "Can-do" attitude
